Kyle Barton, Esq.

Managing Attorney

Kyle Barton leads Barton & Bruechert Law PC with a single focus: helping Long Island businesses handle their legal needs without the overhead of a large firm or the uncertainty of going it alone. As managing attorney, Kyle works exclusively in business law — representing companies across transactions, employment matters, commercial leases, trademark protection, and general corporate counsel. Every client works directly with Kyle, from the first conversation through closing.

Kyle's path to business law was deliberate from the start. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before going on to receive his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. At Hofstra, Kyle graduated on the Dean's List, served as an Articles Editor on the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal, and held the position of Vice President of the Hofstra Law Veterans Legal Assistance Project — a combination that reflects both his academic grounding in employment law and his commitment to service.

Before joining the firm, Kyle clerked at a Long Island law firm concentrating on management-side labor and employment matters, building the employer-focused foundation that runs through his practice today. That early experience — understanding how businesses structure workforce relationships, draft enforceable agreements, and stay ahead of New York's evolving employment law landscape — remains central to how he serves clients across Nassau and Suffolk County.



Kyle is an active member of the Bar in New York, a member of the New York State Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association.

Robert Bruechert

Attorney

Robert Bruechert brings something most business attorneys don't: he's run a business himself. Before founding the firm, Robert served as in-house corporate counsel and principal of a multimillion-dollar engineering services firm — a role that gave him more than twenty years of firsthand experience navigating the legal and operational realities that business owners face every day. That background shapes how he has always approached client representation: practically, with an understanding that legal decisions have real business consequences.

Robert founded the firm's legal practice with a straightforward focus — representing business clients across all stages of a company's life, from formation and operations through purchase, sale, and succession. Over the course of his career, he has represented a broad cross-section of Long Island businesses and professionals, including healthcare providers, engineers, architects, accountants, and skilled tradespeople, as well as companies with commercial contracting relationships across domestic and international markets.

Robert is an active member of the Bar in New York and Washington, D.C., and a member of the New York State Bar Association. He has served on the Massapequa Park Board of Zoning Appeals and is a member of the Chambers of Commerce of Amityville and the Massapequas.



Robert holds a B.S. from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, a J.D. from New York Law School, an L.L.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law, and an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business.
